Today in my prayer time I believe the Holy Spirit answered my questions. I was writing these words as quickly as possible, trying to keep up with all He was pouring into me. My hands are still shaking, so I hope I don’t make too many typo’s.
I believe what He spoke to me today was very similar to my last blog, but I feel He has revealed even more. After He spoke to me, He led me to two specific passages. I will share those as well.
This is what I felt the Spirit was speaking to me:
I have given you a voice and a platform to speak my Word—a voice to speak warning and repentance. I will shake this nation and bring it to its knees if she does not turn back to God. The earthquake I have shown you will be literal and Spiritual. People will be brought low to recognize their need for a Savior. Pride and arrogance will meet judgment. Glass houses displaying mens works will be crushed so My works may be seen and My Father glorified.
I Am coming soon, and I Am coming for a people who love Me. I’m returning for those who would lay down their all to follow Me. I Am calling together a great army of humble warriors to gather My harvest. There is a remnant whose hearts and eyes are fixed on Me. They WILL see this harvest. They will be My carefully chosen laborers, and they will share in My joy in the fields of harvest. I Am coming soon, and My reward is with Me for those who will consecrate themselves to Me and follow Me with their whole heart.
I always ask God to give me a confirmation from His Word, so I picked up my Bible, and let it fall open. I looked down and saw these words. (I know some will say I’m taking the Scripture out of context, but I believe God speaks to us with a rhema word to us when we ask or need it.)
(Isaiah 13:13 NIV)
Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the Lord Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.
I immediately put my Bible down, and flipped it over a couple of chapters, and this highlighted passage jumped off the page at me. I felt led to share it as well.
(Psalm 20:6-8 NIV)
Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
Pray and see what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. We must be ready for whatever lies ahead. We don't have to trust in government, or politics, or any empty promises of any man. But, we will trust in the Name of the Lord our God!
